Welcome to my website. I am in my late 60's and have three grown children, plus 4 grandchildren. I have always had passion for being creative and in my younger years I had wanted to become a journalist. But life happens and in my early 20's I started taking photographs every where I went (which in those days wasn't far). Back in those early years I would have artist ask me if they could buy my photographs so they could paint it. Sometime in my 30's I put down the camera and didn't pick it up for another 10 years.
It was at that time my partner in life bought me my first digital camera and I became passionate again about capturing those moments. We traveled some and I was able to see different places and things to fill my imagination and motivate my creations. Thirty years later I joined a local artist at her studio and I became a part of the local art world. And then my photographs and the art inspired by my photographs started to sell. From there it is history.
I am self taught photographer and artist. Learning as I go. I am a hands on artist and I want to do it my way so that what I produce looks as I had imagine.
I am constantly creating new things and recently learned to do photographic transfer to glass, wood and metal. Still perfecting but it is amazing to see once done. I also print on tissue paper and melt into candles. The wax coats the inside of the tissue paper keeping stiff and as the candle burns down it illuminates the photo printed on the tissue paper. I have found it a very soothing when meditating or those recovering from an illness. Also can be very romantic setting the mood. There are many projects I am involved in. Keep your eyes on my site to see what comes next.
